Once you have an Equity and Inclusion Policy, outlining your equity goals, you need a plan for how you’re going to reach them. It must include a budget, a system of evaluation, actions assigned to accountable people and tangible measures of success. There are many possible actions outlined on this site.

As with developing an Equity and Inclusion Policy, a good first step is to review the strategies of other similar organisations. Some organisations also find it useful to seek assistance from diversity consultants or mentors to help them develop a strategy.
