Conduct a regular workplace survey to assess the culture of your workplace; find out how your employees feel about the workplace culture and find out what could be done to improve cultural safety. This can be such a powerful way of giving everyone a voice. You could make the survey anonymous.

How do I do this?

  • Create an employee resource group led by staff at all levels as a response to the survey findings
  • Encourage the sharing of lived experiences and create opportunities for this to encourage discourse around workplace culture
  • Reach out to the community for partnerships, meaningful cultural connections and learning opportunities as a response to the survey findings
  • Benchmark your survey results and responses with other similar organisations or companies
  • Create opportunities for learning and signpost to relevant organisations for support
