Diversity in Art Museum Leadership: A Funder Collaboration
Article on evaluating the Diversity in Museum Leadership Initiative, a US$6 million project to address the underrepresentation of people of colour in US museum staff. The project supports paid internships and interventions in education programs for people of colour, ranging from post-graduate to high school level. Most grantees adopted five measures: Program participation; Program quality and engagement; Mentorship; Networking opportunities; Alumni tracking beyond the program.
