Diversity Data

Each year the Arts Council England collects, analyses, reports and publishes data relating to equality and diversity of the work, organisations and projects they fund.

The 2018/19 report released in 2020 found 11% of works in the national portfolio organisations are from black and other minority ethnic backgrounds. That compares with 16% of the working-age population.

A report on the allocation of staff and financial resources to diversity and inclusion (D&I) functions from a benchmarking study of finance, healthcare and insurance companies. D&I spend per employee for member organisations varied widely from $12.50 to $250. Includes line categories for the D&I budget, and examples of diversity goals, as well as information on developing a D&I council.
