Information Technology and Indigenous Communities: The Ara Irititja Project: Past, Present, Future

Ara Irititja is a collaborative digital archive project which aims to store and repatriate culturally and historically significant materials to Anangu people. This research presents some of the work done by Ara Irititja which brings together community and non-Indigenous collaborators to successfully deliver its intended outcomes to the community’s satisfaction. Comes from Chapter 9 (Pages 151-171) of the book Information Technology and Indigenous Communities.
