FAIR RECRUITMENT AND INCLUSIVITY IN THE WORKPLACE TRAINING 2022/23

Friday, June 10, 2022

As part of our mission to help build a better industry for all, we are partnering once again with ScreenSkills to continue delivering Fair Recruitment and Inclusivity in the Workplace Training for 2022/23, designed to support equitable hiring processes in organisations and on-set.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

This course will offer an in-depth look at current and traditional recruitment practices and their varying impacts on diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. Participants will then learn how they can implement fairer, more robustly meritocratic recruitment policies in their own organisations, and help to build a better future for the industry as a whole.

Suitable for: HOD’s and those with hiring responsibilities

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the shortcomings of traditional recruitment practices in the establishment of fair and inclusive workplaces
  • Analyse the recruitment practices in their own organisations and teams
  • Implement positive change to ensure fairer recruitment
  • Recognise and address exclusivity in their own workplaces

N.B all participants are requested to take ScreenSkills’ “Inclusive Hiring for the Screen Industries” e-learning module ahead of the session.

All sessions take place via Zoom. To find out about upcoming training sessions, please email hello@bifa.film.

* Thanks to the support of ScreenSkills, we are able to offer a limited number of subsidised and free-of-charge tickets for each training course. If you would like to receive a subsidised or free place on one of our courses, please fill in this form. These tickets will be released a month in advance of the training dates. We will contact you then with the outcome of your request.
